Florian Borkowski Obituary

Florian F. Borkowski, age 79, of Reedsburg, WI, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center. He was born on May 23, 1944 in Chicago, IL, the son of Alexander F. and Lottie H. (Stachowiak) Borkowski. He was married to the former Nadine M. Dubec in 1964. She preceded him in death on January 6, 2020.

He was the owner and operator of Dura-Bilt Die Company for many years. Florian drove for the past several years as a bus driver for VARC in Reedsburg. He enjoyed golfing when he was able to in his younger years, visits to the casino, and trap shooting.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Alan Borkowski; mother-in-law, Tillie Paetz; brother-in-law, Robert Gross; and sister-in-law, Claire.

Florian is survived by his daughters, Deborah (Michael) Borkowski/Pare, and Kerry (William) Hamilton; grandchildren, Taylor (Dan) Steen, Corey (Aaren) Borkowski, and Cody Bokota; great-grandchildren, Alex Bokota, Addison Steen, AJ Steen, Blake Borkowski, Gillian Borkowski; sister, Dolores Gross; brother, Alex Borkowski; sister-in-law, Bonnie Borkowski; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Private family services for Florian will be held at a later date.
