Frances K. Elliott

Frances K. Elliott, age 76, of Richland Center, WI, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at the University Hospital in Madison. She was born on May 22, 1944 in Richland Center, Wisconsin, the daughter of Kennard and Dorothy (Underhill) Elliott.

She attended Junior College in the State of Washington and went on to attain her Bachelor's Degree at the University of Washington.

Frances worked for the Washington State Ferry as an Able Seaman for quite a few years.  She loved that job dearly but had to return to Wisconsin to care for her mother, which she did admirably for many years. While living in Wisconsin she had many different jobs where she always made a lot friends. She was always sad about not being able to return to the sea, which she loved.

She enjoyed nature, bird-watching, feeding the birds, visiting with friends, walking, water aerobics, playing Yahtzee and card games, and many other things. She was a real people person and always tried to make people feel better about themselves. 'Frankie' gave the best hugs and had friends from all walks of life.

She will be sadly missed by so many people.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her partner, Mary Lynne Robinson of Richland Center; sisters, Audrey (Jack) Seamans of Loganville, and Vicky (Paul Lucht) Elliott of LaValle; along with nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

A private graveside service for Frances will be in the Lime Ridge Cemetery.

The Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg is assisting the family.
