Gerald "Jerry" E. Spencer

Gerald (Jerry) E. Spencer, 58, of Lime Ridge, WI, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. He was born to James and Lucille (Gudenschwager) Spencer on February 7, 1964 in Richland Center. He enjoyed shaking dice and playing cards. Jerry also enjoyed watching Packer and Badger football games with his brothers. In his younger years, he liked helping grow tomatoes so his mom could make the tomato juice he loved. He served in the Army Reserves, traveling to Honduras to build roads. Jerry was employed at Reedsburg Foods for 20 years.

He is survived by his sisters, Marie (Joe) Ladika of Cazenovia, Margo (John) Krueger of Reedsburg, Marjorie (Bob) Bruha of Hartford, Marcia (Terry) Roessler of Rock Springs, and Miriam McBain of Reedsburg. He is also survived by his brothers, George Spencer and Gene Spencer, both of Lime Ridge; step-brother, Douglas (Kim) Hoy of Baraboo; step-father, Duane (Doug) Hoy of Reedsburg; along with other relatives and friends.

Gerald was preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Hoy and father, James Spencer.

Graveside services with military rites for Gerald will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, May 27, 2022 at the Lime Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials of remembrance may be made to the family.

The Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, is assisting the family.
