Inez Faye Westedt, age 84, of Hillpoint, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at her home surrounded by family. She was born on August 24, 1940, in Reedsburg, WI, the daughter of Emil and Grace (Grosklaus) Buelow. Inez was baptized on September 8, 1940 and she confirmed her faith on April 7, 1954. She was a graduate of Wonewoc High School. Following high school Inez worked for Ray-O-Vac. On June 25, 1960, she was united in marriage to Delbert L. Westedt in St. Paul Lutheran Church, LaValle. This marriage was blessed with three children.

After her marriage, Inez raised her family while helping Delbert on the farm. She was later employed with Plateco in Reedsburg until her retirement. Inez enjoyed growing and tending to her flowers. She was a coin and stamp collector; collecting nickels and wheat pennies up to the last couple weeks. She enjoyed going on day trips with her sister Jean and her nieces. She always attended county fairs to watch the animals sell and parades with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert in 2010; her parents; granddaughter, Sandra Miller; brothers and sisters: Eldor Buelow, Beverly Buelow, Jean Ziech, Bordon Buelow and Walter Buelow; and a special niece Angie Ziech.

Inez is survived by her children: Jenny (Gary) Miller of Mauston, LaVerne Westedt (Patsy Wastlick) of Wonewoc, LeRoy Westedt of Hillpoint; grandchildren: Michael, Kyle, Kaitlyn (Chris), Karson (Molly); great grandchildren: Aydin, Finleigh and Elliette; brother, Russell Buelow of LaCrosse; sisters-in-law, Mae Buelow of Mauston, Phyllis Christian of Richland Center, Helen Slotty of Sauk City; many nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Inez Westedt will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at St. John Lutheran Church in Loganville with Pastor Tim Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Hillpoint. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg and on Tuesday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church. Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, Loganville.
