James Byshop Mummer Obituary

James B. Mummer, 22, of LaCrosse, was found and pronounced June 20, 2023, and identified on September 6, 2024, after being last seen on September 6, 2018.

James Mummer was a vibrant young man just beginning of his life. As a young child he was full of energy and enjoyed watching cartoons, decorating Christmas cookies and playing soccer. His teenage years saw a love of video games, music, and an outlet for his creative spirit - roleplay games - that he enjoyed with his friends. He was known to bring joy to all of those who knew him.

He is survived by his father Robert Mummer, his mother Jean Mrozek, his stepfather Josh Mrozek, and siblings: Austin Swaney, Celeste Mrozek, and Alex, Draven, Mason, and Spencer Mummer.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 12 noon at Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg.  Chaplain Mike Amberg will officiate.  Visitation will also be on Friday, at the funeral home from 10:00 am until 11:45 am.  Burial will follow services at Cole Cemetery in Reedsburg.
