James Robert Starin, age 87, of Reedsburg, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at the William S. Middleton VA Hospital in Madison.  He was born on November 26, 1936, in IL, the son of Richard Lee and Lillian Rose (Funk) Starin.   On August 24, 1985, Jim was united in marriage to Patricia Nolan.  She preceded him in death on August 22, 2006.

He is survived by his daughter, Colleen Krush, granddaughter, Caitlin Krush, brother, Dave (Dottie) Starin, nieces, Amy Starin, Beth Papke and Jill Joerns.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard.

Funeral services for James Starin will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at the Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, with Mike Amberg officiating.  Burial with Military Honors will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery, LaValle.  Visitation will be held on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
