Jean A. Krueger, age 77, of Cazenovia, WI, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. She was born on January 27, 1946 at home in Westford Township, Richland County, WI, the daughter of Herman J. and Hilda A. (Leimkuehler) Keller. On December 13, 1969 she was united in marriage to Lloyd E. Krueger. They traveled for several years to many different states while Lloyd served in the U.S. Navy.
Jean was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Parish, Cazenovia, and sang in the church choir. She was also a member of the Cazenovia American Legion Auxiliary, and served on the Cazenovia Celebration Committee for many years.
She enjoyed watching her cats, following the Milwaukee Brewers and attending their games. She loved to listen to Elvis’ music and she was one of his biggest fans.
In addition to her husband, Lloyd, she is survived by her children; John (Yara) Krueger, Robert “Zod” Krueger (Sharon Campbell), Laura Krueger, and Sherry (Leonard) Gasser; grandchildren: Katie McGrath, Jessica McGrath (Jacob) Wegner, Dylan Mittlesteadt (Emily Holloway), Clarissa (Cedric) Littlebear, and Kyle Krueger; great-grandchildren: Tyrann Littlebear, Easton Wegner, and another one on the way; along with other relatives and friends.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, Alfred and Dean Keller; nephew Mike Keller; and two grandchildren, Ashley Rose Fry and Courtney McGrath.
The Mass of Christian Burial for Jean will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Cazenovia. The Rev. Nathan Thainase, pastor, will be the Celebrant. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Burial will follow in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
Memorials of remembrance may be made in her name.
