Jeanette A. Klang, 92, previously of Cazenovia, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2025 at the Milestone Senior Living in Hillsboro.

She was born February 13, 1933 in Sauk County to the late Martin and Margaret (LaSage) Gasser. On June 16, 1952 she was united in marriage to Donald A. Klang at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Lime Ridge. He preceded her in death March 2, 2023. This marriage was blessed with three children.

Jeanette loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She attended their activities at Weston School, helped them with their homework, provided them with advice, and baked them many delicious goodies. She also enjoyed visiting with her friends during their “Monday morning coffee klatch” sessions. She enjoyed babysitting and playing games with her grandchildren, crossword puzzles and loved a good laugh. Baking was also a hobby of Jeanette’s- her fruit pies and chocolate torte were among the favorites.

She is survived by her children; Vicki (Clark) Thompson, Jim (Sharon) Klang, daughter-in-law, Sue (Brian) Wilbrandt; her grandchildren; Kristi (Todd) Marsicek, Kerri (John) Delaney, Derek (Jen) Klang, Sarah (Nate) Pranke-Klang, David Klang, Mark (Courtney) Klang, and her great-grandchildren; Brynley and Braxton Marsicek, Jackson and Tyler Delaney, Collin and Hudson Klang, and Nadezjda and Radhika Pranke-Klang. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband Donald, she was preceded in death by son, John, son-in-law, Bob Meyer, brothers and sisters-in-law Alfred, Roy (Katherine), Tom (Betty), Phil (Carmen), Charlie (Maryls), a nephew Steve and a niece Cindy.

The Mass of Christian Burial for Jeanette will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 11:00 am, at Holy Family Catholic Church in LaValle. Rev. John Blewett will be the Celebrant. Visitation will also be on Wednesday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until 10:45. Burial will be held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery, Cazenovia. In lieu of flowers, memorials of remembrance may be made to the Cazenovia Ambulance and Fire Department.
