Jeanette Ann Rose, age 95, of Reedsburg, died on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the Sauk County Health Care Center.  She was born on October 11, 1930, in Cazenovia, WI the daughter of Fred and Marcella (Jax) Keller.

On July 22, 1952, Jeanette was united in marriage to Gilbert Rose.  This marriage was blessed with five children. Gilbert preceded her in death on June 13, 1999. Jeanette was a stay-at-home Mother much of her adult life. She worked on the family farm until it was sold in March of 1998.  Over the years, she was employed at Viking Village Bakery and Deli, Sauk County Health Care Center, Reedsburg School District food service, Geffert Catering and was a seasonal employee of Reedsburg Foods. Jeanette enjoyed caring for many of her grandchildren over the years. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren provided her much joy.

Jeanette was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Reedsburg. Jeanette and Gilbert were members of the “Study Club,” a group of young families at Sacred Heart Church. She served on the CCW and helped with funeral luncheons for many years and helped with the Fall Festival. She was also a member of the Cazenovia American Legion Auxiliary. 

She was also preceded in death by her son, Richard on December 5, 2017; her parents; brothers, Leonard (Joyce), Marvin (Norma Jean), Bernard; sisters, Arlene (Edwin) Bloch, Marjorie (Lawrence) Garven; brother-in-law, Gilbert Krenz.

Jeanette is survived by her children:  Dennis (Lois), Jerome (Cheryl), Kevin; daughter, Kathy (Frank) Dwyer; sister, Marcella “Sally” Krenz; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren along with nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Jeanette Rose will be conducted at 11:30 AM on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church,
Reedsburg.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Reedsburg.  Visitation will be held on Saturday morning from 9:30 AM until 11:15 AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cazenovia Legion Auxiliary or the Reedsburg Area Food Pantry.
