Jennifer Sarah Benson-Meister, aged 52, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2024, in Madison, WI, after a courageous four-year battle with cancer. Surrounded by loving family, Jennifer's final moments were a testament to the strength, love, and spirit so characteristic of her life.

Born March 3, 1972, to Rosemary and John Benson, Jennifer was baptized into God’s family on April 16, 1972, at Saron Lutheran Church, in Ashland, WI. The second of four children, Jennifer spent her early years in Park Falls, WI, where she was confirmed in her faith at Peace Lutheran Church. She went on to complete her preparatory education at Wausau East High School, singing in several choirs, playing the flute, and making many friends along the way. She would go on to earn a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point before becoming a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager. Jennifer’s dedication and expertise led to a distinguished career, culminating as Vice President of Audit, Risk, and Compliance at IncredibleBank, where she was highly respected and admired by colleagues and clients alike.

The struggles of life never stopped Jennifer from living with passion and contentment. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Sarah, who was her pride and joy. In 2021, Jennifer married the love of her life, John Meister, in Reedsburg, WI. Jennifer loved dancing, singing, and listening to music. She also enjoyed riding motorcycles, boating, and traveling, always embracing life's adventures with a vibrant and indomitable spirit. In her youth, Jennifer enjoyed spending summers with her youth group at Camp Luther. Throughout her adult life, Jennifer’s spirit of generosity would shine as she was a highly involved member of the community, spearheading various charity events such as The Joseph Project, Relay for Life, Sheroes Among Us, and the Festival of the Arts.

Jennifer resided in Reedsburg, WI, with her devoted and loving husband, John Meister. She leaves behind a loving family, including her daughter, Sarah Bjork, and two stepchildren, Thomas Meister and Emma Meister.
