Joan Loretta Krueger, age 92, of LaValle, formerly of Naperville, Illinois, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025, at her home surrounded by loved ones.  She was born on May 26, 1932, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Oliver and Olive (Smith) Wallace.

On December 4, 1954, Joan was united in marriage to Glenn L. Krueger.  This marriage was blessed with six children. Glenn preceded her in death on August 30, 2011.

Joan was an artist who enjoyed painting.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Laura Lentz and sister, Eileen Sommer.

Joan is survived by her children:  Janice (Joe) Slowiak, Kurt (Tammy) Krueger, Linda Moore, Brad Krueger, Paul (Cheryl) Krueger; grandchildren: Stuart (Samantha), Ryan, Morgen, Kyle, Cortney, Brandon and Brett; great-grandchildren, Wallace and Maddox.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Joan L. Krueger will be conducted at 11:30 AM on Monday, April 14, 2025, at Holy Family Catholic Church, LaValle, with Father John Blewett officiating.  Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery, LaValle.  Visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church.
