John C. Rockweiler, age 85, of Lime Ridge, WI, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023 after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. He was born on November 19, 1937 in Richland Center, the son of Raymond and Ida “Grace” (McMillan) Rockweiler. On April 25, 1959 he was united in marriage to Charlotte Kolash. This marriage was blessed with three children.

In 1960 he moved to Kenosha and was employed by American Motors and Chrysler as a safety representative.  He enjoyed fishing on Lake Michigan, snowmobiling, spending winters in Texas, and time spent with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jim and Jerome; sister, Rita; son-in-law, Joe Garcia; and niece Ellen McGlynn.

John is survived by his wife, Charlotte; daughters, Pam (Steve) Blagec, Kathy Garcia, and son Steven; grandchildren, Jonathan (Allison) Ostrowski, Jessica (Justin) Inhof, and James (Jacob) Rockweiler; two great-grandsons, Alex and Max, and number three coming soon. He is further survived by his brothers, Michael (Bettye Jo), Rodney (Rose Schafer), and Edward; sisters, Mary (Jerry Thompson), Jean (Bill Peterson), Barb (Mark McGlynn), Sheila, and Michelle (Steve Montgomery); many nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends.

John did not want a funeral, so per his wishes, there will be a Celebration of Life held on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at St. Anthony’s Parish Hall, 32497 County Highway V, Cazenovia, WI from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.
