Jonathan M. Rhinehart

Jonathan M. Rhinehart (Jon, Jonboy), age 26, of LaValle, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 26, 2023, as a result of a motor vehicle accident. He was born on June 27, 1997 in Reedsburg to Kurt Rhinehart and Rebecca Towne.

Jonboy loved being around his beloved dog, Blue, friends and family. He loved the great outdoors spending time hunting, fishing, boating and shooting trap. He’d help anybody if they asked for it. His smile and laugh was contagious. He made friends with just about anyone he met.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Keith D. Rhinehart, and grandfather and best buddy, Edward A. Towne.

Jon is survived by his beloved dog Blue; his parents, Kurt (Dena) Rhinehart of Baraboo, and Rebecca Towne (Chris Ruland) of Wonewoc; daughter, MaKenna Buchholz of Westfield; siblings, Christopher (Sara) Rhinehart of Baraboo, Tiffany (Emerson) Brown of Baraboo, Kimberly Rhinehart (Marty Borntreger) of Wonewoc, Haley Bender of Spring Green, Alisa Bender (Josh Franke) of LaCrosse, Lacey Bender of Baraboo; grandmother, Cheryl Rhinehart of Reedsburg; grandmother and best friend, Patricia Towne of LaValle; great-grandmother, Gladys Olson; girlfriend, Kiley Churchill of Reedsburg; along with three nieces, Brielle, Raelynn and Brooklynn; two nephews, Acacius and Brayson; along with aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A visitation for Jonathan will take place Monday, October 30, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg.  A graveside service will take place at 10:00 am. on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Potters Cemetery, Town of Summit.
