Joseph Michael Duren

Joseph M. Duren (Joey), age 46, of Cazenovia, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 20, 2021.  He was the son of Joseph J. and Kathleen A. (Carroll) Duren. He was currently employed as a certified welder/ironworker in framing with local lodge Union Ironworker #383 for 19 years.  Prior to that he worked at Seats, Inc. as a robotic welder. Joey was a member of the Cazenovia Fire Department since 2006.

Joey was an avid outdoorsman.  He worked to enjoy his weekends fishing, hunting, and time on the family farm. His hunting stories were always so “loooooong” and detailed. 

Joey’s happiest day was January 25th when his daughter, Ivie was born. 

Joey’s best friend died in 2020, his dad, Joseph J Duren.  He missed him dearly.

He is survived by his fiance, Laura Flynn; daughter, Ivie Duren; step daughter, Avery Kranz;  mother, Kathleen Duren; sister, Michelle (Tom) Henke; niece Elizabeth Duren-Henke; nephews Cooper and Mitchell Henke; along with many other relatives and friends.

A memorial visitation for Joey will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 3:00-7:00 P.M. at Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg.
