Joshua A. Ledden, age 42, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Arlington, Virginia on Monday, October 7, 2024. He was born on June 11, 1982, in Fond du Lac, WI, the son of Richard and Barbara (Barden) Ledden.

A 2000 graduate of Fond du Lac High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, Josh earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science.  Following graduation Josh moved to Washington DC where he interned for Congressman Tom Petri. He spent seven years in the office of United States Representative Jim Sensenbrenner from Wisconsin before working his current position with Brooks Bawden Moore, LLC. He loved working on and around Capitol Hill

He was the founder of the BBM Weekly Update-his company’s newsletter. He helped keep the justice and public safety community around the country better informed on a regular basis about national policy developments that impact their lives.

Josh enjoyed being outdoors, especially visiting national parks, and Civil War battlegrounds with his friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Virgil and Peggy Barden, paternal grandparents, Dale Ledden and Donna (Don) Majerus, and his dog, Brewer in July, 2022.

Josh is survived by his parents, Richard and Barbara Ledden, brother Jason Ledden and sister, Melissa Ledden, aunts, uncles and several cousins.

A celebration of Joshua’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.  A visitation will be held on Saturday November 9 from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
