Joshua Gabriel Ready - forever 25, from Reedsburg, WI unexpectedly passed on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.

He is survived by his father, Matt Ready; fiancé, Shawnna Suttley and her daughter Myla; brother, Joseph Ready, his wife Terra Ready and their son Rhett; and brother, Jonathan Ready, and his significant other Destiny Kopf.

Josh’s passion was the special gift of music that moved any & every soul. He loved the banjo, keyboard/piano, guitar, and any instrument he could get his hands on. He used those hands professionally as a locksmith for 7 years at J&K Security and most recently a forklift driver at WB Tank. He loved his cars (where he bumped his favorite tunes) and especially the teal old-man truck. He was a true family man, the best uncle, the greatest MacGyver. He bought a house with his family and paved the way for it to become a home. He looked forward to ruffling his brothers’ feathers with his “surpise landlord visits” where he would shower them with his corny jokes and bring peace to them with his bright smile. Josh found his sweetheart, Shawnna, and that smile was the brightest: a light that surpasses time and space. And when he met her daughter, My, he became the best Tosh sidekick.

We all will deeply miss him and his memory will live on with those whose lives he touched. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm at the Reedsburg Town Hall, 600 W Main St, Reedsburg, WI 53959.
