Judy M. Rogers, age 82, of Reedsburg, WI, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on Thursday, February 16, 2023 next to the love of her life. She was born on March 4, 1940 in Wisconsin Dells, the daughter of Henry C. and Lorraine I. (Richter) Luettgerodt. On October 23, 1960 she was united in marriage to Harley “Ed” Rogers in Baraboo.

Judy was a volunteer at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center for many years, she also ran a support group for those with COPD. Judy was famous for her excellent cooking and entertaining, and her yearly neighborhood Christmas party was enjoyed by all. Judy was incredibly talented. She decorated cakes, made baby blankets for the RAMC gift shop, and even had her own kiln where she and Ed made life-like authentic Native American dolls. Judy also collected Santa Claus’ and had over 250 in her collection.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her children, Kenneth and Diane, and grandchild Kenneth.

Judy is survived by her husband, Harley “Ed” Rogers; sister, Shirley Milligan; daughters, Joleen Kokenzie, and Dawn Rogers; and grandchildren, Nicholas and Alexis Kokenzie; along with other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Judy will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, February 20, 2023 at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg with Pastor Lisa Newberry of First Presbyterian Church of Reedsburg officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service. Family requests no live plants please.
