Karen Joy Diece

Karen Joy Diece, age 73 of Reedsburg, WI, passed away on July 20, 2025 after a short but courageous battle with non-Hodgkins lymphoma.

Karen was born on November 29, 1951 to Clark and Valera (Gollmar) Widener. She was united in marriage to James Diece on June 26, 1971. Together they raised three children. Karen enjoyed traveling to Branson with Jim, going on lunch and coffee dates with her granddaughters, putting puzzles together, spoiling her dog, and spending time with her family.

Karen is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jim; children Brenda (Jonathan), Kevin (fiancée Kimberly), and Linda (Kevin); six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by eight sisters, one brother, nieces and nephews, friends, and her beloved dog Abby.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, four brothers, and other family.

Funeral Services for Karen will be on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 7:00 pm at Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg. Chaplain Daniel Farber will officiate. Visitation also be on Friday, at the funeral home from 5:00pm until 6:45 pm. A special thank you to SSM Hospice Home in Baraboo for the care and support given to Karen and her family during her final weeks.
