Kenneth G. Thieding, age 76 of Loganville, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021. He was born on March 16, 1944 in Reedsburg, WI, the son of Henry and Evangaline (Hamburg) Thieding. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator with Thieding Construction. Ken served in the National Guard from February 1965 to February 1971. He was a member of the NRA, Harley Owner Group “HOG”, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and Local Union 139 Operating Engineers. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, loved riding motorcycle, playing cards, and enjoyed trap shooting. Ken was a member of St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Loganville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother James Thieding; and brother-in-law, Paul Muszynski.
Ken is survived by his son, Brian Thieding-Crystal Walton of Lime Ridge; granddaughters MacKenzie and Kelley Thieding; sister, Susan (Bill) Doria of Hennepin, IL; brother, Robert (Jane) Thieding; sister-in-law, Diane Thieding; nieces and nephews: Jodi (Mike) Whalen, Jeff (Julie) Thieding, Kirk (Jodi) Muszynski, Kristi Muszynski-Tyson (Greg Cothern), Kelley (Chris) LaGrange, Tammy Thieding-Blaha (Misti Hicks); along with other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Ken Thieding will be conducted 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Loganville with Rev. Donald Glanzer and Vicar Stephen Nilsen officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery in Loganville. Visitation will be on Friday, January 15, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
