Kyle Douglas Green, age 28 of Bonduel, WI, formerly of Reedsburg, passed away on August 13, 2023 as a result of a motorcycle accident. Kyle was born on June 2, 1995 in Reedsburg, WI, the son of William and Tamara (Rockweiler) Green.
Kyle was raised in the Reedsburg area and frequented Cazenovia to spend time on his Grandpa Carp’s land. He spent summers camping with his family at Castle Rock Lake, enjoying campfires, boating, slalom skiing, and riding his stand-up jet ski. Kyle’s passion was dirt biking. He was a skilled racer, often placing in the top three of his class, with equipment he rebuilt with his own hands. Kyle was a true patriot, firmly believing in and promoting our Constitution. He was grateful to Veterans for our freedoms. He enjoyed archery, trap shooting, hunting, and competing in action-pistol league.
Kyle’s career included working as a Research and Development Testing Technician for Kohler Engines and Harley Davidson. His current employer was Charter Aarrowcast Foundry in Shawano, Wisconsin and he recently was promoted to Automation Engineer. He was exuberant about his job, excited to have attended ABB Robotics training in Michigan, and often spent his free time studying programming.
He and the love of his life, Jess, purchased a home in Bonduel, Wisconsin in November 2022. Together they enjoyed campfires, riding horse, playing with their German Shepherds, and going to dirt bike hare scrambles where she acted as his pit-crew. Kyle always put family first, rooted for the underdog, loved animals, and had a strong sense of integrity. He was determined and good at anything he set his mind to. Kyle was very much his own individual and true to his beliefs and convictions. His keen and quirky sense of humor and warm hugs will be dearly missed.
Kyle is survived by: his parents, Bill and Tammy Green, of Reedsburg, WI; brother, Riley Green of Bonduel, WI; his fiancé Jessica Gehl of Bonduel, WI; grandparents, Robert “Doug” and Margaret Green of Baraboo; Jennifer and Ronald Gullicksrud of Eau Claire; Rebecca and Douglas Craig of Florida; Jess’ parents, Mike and Pam Gehl; Jess’ sister, Courtney Gehl, all of Hilbert, WI; his two German Shepherds, Baloo and Jackie; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jerome “Carp” Rockweiler.
