Larry A. Meyer

Larry A. Meyer, age 71 of Reedsburg, went to his heavenly home Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Meriter Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He was born December 8, 1949 to Emil and Gertrude Biddle Meyer in Medford, WI. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. Larry married Betty Stando on January 2, 1999.

Larry worked for Scott Construction, Lake Delton, WI for 44 years until his retirement in 2013.

Larry and his wife wintered in Florida and Alabama for 10 years where they made many lasting friends. He loved ocean fishing, hunting and trapping. His greatest sport was bow hunting.

Larry is survived by his wife Betty, his stepson Jason Schrank, grandchildren Taylor Hough and Olivia Schrank, special nephew Jason, Tammy Meyer, Jeff and JoAnn Meyer, Jenny Meyer and Loyal Nelson, Julie and Scott Tyrcha, Aunt Margaret Schneider, his beloved fur baby Tanner, sister-in-law Shirley Stando, and other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother and sister-in-law Ken and Kathy Meyer, stepson Michael Pezall, and his brother-in-law Vernon Stando.

Funeral Services for Larry will be on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at 1:00 pm.  at Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg. Chaplain Dan Farber will officiate.  Visitation will also be on Wednesday, at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the time of service.  Burial with military rites will follow services at St. John Cemetery in Reedsburg.
