Leslie A Steinmetz-Smith

Leslie Steinmetz-Smith, 42, of Reedsburg, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022 from a short battle of cancer at home surrounded by friends and family. She was born on June 29, 1979, the daughter of Lester Steinmetz (biological father), Russell Steinmetz (father) and Deborah Steinmetz.

Leslie enjoyed working, shopping, and spending time with family and friends. Her greatest joy in life was becoming a grandmother spoiling her two grandsons. She began a travel bucket list several years ago traveling on a Carnival Cruise and 30 states and enjoying many sites including The Smoky Mountains and Grand Canyon.

She is survived by her three children, daughter Lacey Steinmetz (Casey Gavin), grandson Greyson Gavin, son Dakota Smith, grandson Jackson Smith, and son Dalton Smith.

Leslie was the youngest of three daughters, sisters Kimberly Smallwood and Krista Strutz (Patrick Strutz). She is also survived by her aunt, Beverly Schuenke and many nieces and nephews; Kelsey Steinmetz-Knuth (Abe Knuth), Kiley, Kaden, and Kameron Churchill, Dawson Brandt and great nephew Peyton Brandt.

Leslie was preceded in death by her mother Deborah Steinmetz, and biological father Lester Steinmetz.

A Celebration of Life visitation will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 from 11:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg. There will be a celebration of life to follow at Brewster Lanes, with a light meal provided at 3:00 pm.
