Linda Marie Lewis

Linda M. Lewis, age 90, of Reedsburg, went to be with God on Monday, May 17, 2021.  She was in her home surrounded by her loving family.  Linda was born on December 22, 1930 in Ontario, WI, the daughter of Wesley and Gracie (Thomas) Winchel.

On April 5, 1949, she was united in marriage to John B. Spurgeon.  He preceded her in death on January 16, 1976.  She later married Leland Lewis, who also preceded her in death.

Linda worked at Gerber in Reedsburg for many years.  She loved to travel, as well as spend time with family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Vicki Mortimer, Linda “Kathy” (Randy) Tyler, Vonda (Roger) Hainstock, Kerry (Mary Baley) Spurgeon, Toni Spurgeon (Al Nachreiner), and a step son, Donnie Spurgeon.  She is also survived by one brother, Walter (Merideth) Winchel; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

Linda is also preceded in death by sons, Doyle Spurgeon, Charles Spurgeon, John Spurgeon (Jr.), Randy Spurgeon; grandson, Douglas Spurgeon; great granddaughter, Gabriella Faith Spurgeon; brothers, Glen and Carl Winchel.

Funeral services for Linda Lewis will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Monday, May 24, 2021 at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg with Rick Tyler officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will be made in the Lime Ridge Cemetery.
