Linda Kay Perkins, age 80, of Loganville, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at The Rivers in Portage, WI. She was born on January 11, 1945, in Richland Center, WI the daughter of Donald and Dixie (McHone) Gher.

On August 17, 1963, Linda was united in marriage to Kenneth H. Perkins at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hillpoint. This marriage was blessed with three children. Linda was employed as a Nurses Aid, and later as a receptionist for the Sauk County Health Care Center. She also worked with her husband, Ken, as an over the road semi-driver for approximately 10 years. Her most enjoyable hobby was quilting, and she was a member of the Piecemakers Quilt Group since its inception.

She was preceded in death by her parents; great-granddaughter, Nora; sister, Barbara Gher-Henderson.

Linda is survived by her husband, Ken; children: Kenny (Carol) Perkins, Laura (Bill) Fry, Sarah (Tim) Hayes; grandchildren: Cassie (Peter) Lange, Logan (Sara) Fry, Brandon Wilmot (Jenna Buckingham), Jessica Wilmot; great-grandchildren: Sofie, Harper, River, Elinore, Rylee, Morgan, Brinley; sisters: Diana (Larry) Schluter and Nancy Dabron; brother-in-law, Jeff Henderson; several nieces, nephews; along with other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Linda’s life will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Hillpoint VFW, S6088 Wi 154, Hillpoint, WI 53937, from 12:00 noon until 4:00 pm The Farber Funeral Home is assisting the family.
