Louise M. Klang

Louise M. Klang, age 89, of Reedsburg, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020 at New Perspective Assisted Living in Sun Prairie. She was born on August 30, 1931 in Columbus, WI, the daughter of Rudolph and Elva (Warn) Gruenert. On May 10, 1951 she was united in marriage to Lawrence Klang at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Cazenovia. This marriage was blessed with three sons. Louise was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and the Catholic Daughters of America.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents: Rudolph and Elva Gruenert; husband: Lawrence “Peany” Klang; her brothers and sisters: Roger Gruenert, Eileen Stewart, Lola Giebel, Fred Gruenert, and Jim Gruenert.

She is survived by her sons, Marvin (Sandy) Klang, Bruce (Ruth) Klang, and Dennis (Denise) Klang; grandchildren: Jason, Nicholas, Jolene, Randy, and Angela; great-grandchildren: Etta, Wyatt, Rylee, Sebastian, Gabriella, Harvey, Logan, and Evalyn; brothers and sisters: Richard Gruenert, Bonnie Small, Rita Zagroba, and Michael Gruenert and many friends and relatives.

Thanks to the staff of Agrace Hospice and New Prospective senior living for the professional care and comfort that Mom was given during the length of her stay.

A private family graveside service for Louise will be held at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Cazenovia.

A Celebration of Life for Louise will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials of remembrance may be made to the Alzheimer's/Dementia Association, or the American Legion Veterans Memorial in Cazenovia.
