Louise Marie Peterson

Louise Marie (Lacy) Peterson, age 67, of Reedsburg, WI, passed away with her loving husband and daughter by her side on Monday, May 3, 2021. Louise had a long battle with cancer that she just could not fight any longer. She was born on May 11, 1953 in Madison, WI, to Paul and Milda (Richardson) Lacy. She married Robert Allan Peterson on December 16, 1972.

Louise loved many things, like spending weekends going camping with her family and friends. You could always find her working on the latest challenging project of beading or crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Tim Duren.

Louise is survived by her husband, Robert Alan; daughter Jaime Peterson; parents Paul and Milda Lacy; sisters Melissa Lacy-Cliff (Don), Lora Waddell (Bruce), Teresa Peterson (Conrad), Diane Schmid (Larry), Joan Kleinheinz (Ken), and Jeri  Breen (Pat). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, and especially by her fur kids, Wally and Dixie, and her grand-dog Mayzie.

A Memorial Service for Louise will be conducted at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg with Pastor Beth Voigt officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.

Special thanks go out to all her caregivers that helped her through her long battle. She developed so many great friendships along the way.
