Margaret M. Bohen

Margaret M. “Marge” Bohen, age 97 of Reedsburg, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Casa de Oakes. She was born on March 29, 1922 in Belvidere, Illinois, the daughter of Charles and Vanelia (Kleeber) Osenroth. On April 18, 1942 she was united in marriage to Harold “Gadge” Bohen in Madison, WI. This marriage was blessed with three children. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Reedsburg, and a member of the Reedsburg Country Club. Later in life Marge had been employed at Lands’ End in Reedsburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband on November 14, 2008; her parents; and a sister, Dorothy (Vernon) Young.

Marge is survived by her children, Jim (Michelle) Bohen of Sacremento, CA, Janet (Dennis) Whitehead of Fitchburg, and Dan (Melinda) Bohen of Salinas, CA; grandchildren: Brad Bohen, Tiffani Loegering, Andrew Whitehead, Erin (Jason) Mundstock, Shane Bohen and Ian Bohen; and seven great-grandchildren; along with other relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Margaret Bohen will be conducted at 11:00 A.M.  on Monday, May 20, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Reedsburg with Rev. David Carrano officiating. Friends may call on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the church.

Memorials of remembrance may be made to Casa de Oakes of Reedsburg or Agrace Hospice of Baraboo.
