Mark Steffen Anderson was born in Madison, WI, on April 23, 1964. He peacefully passed away in his home on the evening of January 30, 2025, and was able to be at home with his family.

He graduated from Rio High School. He was a forklift driver and loved doing it. Mark was an extremely kind, gentle caring partner, step-dad (pops), grandpa and friend. He was a hard worker, who still made time for his loved ones and even strangers in need.  His favorite things included fishing, heavy metal, collecting bears, anything with cars, and watching his favorite shows. He also loved cuddles from his cat Monica.  

He is survived by his brothers, Dana, Pat, Brian, and his sister Kathy.  Mark is also survived by his long-term partner Dawn, her daughters Tiffany and Tia, and his grandkids, Ayden, Grant, Brooklyn and Lucas. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cathy and Steve, and his baby brother Kurt.  

Mark wanted a celebration of life which will be taking place at Paquette Park in Portage at a later date in the spring. The details will be announced.
