Mark A. Hadfield

Mark A. Hadfield, age 41, of Reedsburg, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 19, 2022, doing what he loved to do. He was born on August 3, 1981, in Elgin, IL, the son of Steven and Margaret (Kolkau) Hadfield.  On September 28, 2018, he was united in marriage to Marissa Awe.  This marriage was blessed with two children.  Mark was a loving husband, father, son and brother.  He adored his children and enjoyed teaching his nephews and nieces to how to hunt.  He had a heart of gold and always went out of his way to do things for others.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors.  He passed away in a deer stand on opening morning of the gun deer season in anticipation of what the day would hold.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Mark is survived by his wife, Marissa; mother, Marge Holst; mother and father-in-law, Eutiquio and Alfreda Awe; children, Mark Awe Hadfield and Elliana Grace Hadfield; brother, Matt (Kelly) Hadfield and their children: Corbin, Brody and Audrina; sister, Andrea Frank (Fiance’, Daryn Larson) and children, Josh and Colin Frank; aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.

Funeral services for Mark A. Hadfield will be conducted at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at the Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, with Pastor Clark Peterson officiating.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family on behalf of the children.
