Mary Jordan Obituary

Mary Eileen Jordan, 75, of Reedsburg, passed away peacefully, Thursday, April 18, 2019 at her residence. Mary was born July 31, 1943 in Chicago, IL to the late Donald and Catherine (Figg) McWayne.

Mary was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Parish. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for G&R Foods for many years, but most will remember her working at State Farm Insurance or First Weber Realty. Her family, church and friends were always important to her. Mary enjoyed cooking, musicals, plays, gardening, golf, tennis, traveling and volleyball, and most of all spending time with her Great Grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters, Diane Mary Dendy of Necedah, Joanne Marie Jordan of Reedsburg and Sharon (Dana) Drake, also of Reedsburg. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Valerie (Nicholas) McPherson, Daniel (Heather) Haefer and Jen Drake, and her great-grandchildren; Lily, Nicholas, Cate, Rylie, Brayden and Evelyn; and her sister, Betty (Gary) Johnson of Elk Grove, Illinois; along with many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Mary on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 11:30 a.m., at Sacred Heart Church in Reedsburg.  The Reverend David Carrano, Pastor, will be the Celebrant.  Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg with a Scripture Service being held at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will also be on Wednesday from 10:30 am until the time of Mass at the church.  Burial will take place at a later date at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lake Forest, Illinois.

A memorial fund may be made to the CAL Center in her name.
