Mary L. Matyskela

Mary L. Matyskela, age 81, of LaValle, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2020. She was born on October 19, 1938 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of James and Helen (Klein) McHugh. On February 7, 1959 she was united in marriage to Lawrence Matyskela. This marriage was blessed with three children. Mary enjoyed quilting the most, sewing and owls.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mary is survived by her husband, Lawrence of LaValle; children, Cheryl Pyshos of Las Vegas, NV, James Matyskela of LaValle, and Ellen (Richard) Bergstrom of Southern Illinois; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Reedsburg. The Reverend David Carrano, Pastor, will be the Celebrant. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery in LaValle. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 12 noon until the time of the service at the church.
