Mary L. White

Mary L. White, age 78, of Reedsburg, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, surrounded by her family. She was born on September 24, 1944 in Menomonie, WI, the daughter of Helmer and Dorothy (Conrad) Amundson. On December 20, 1962, she was united in marriage to Donald E. White. This marriage was blessed with three children.

Mary retired from Sauk County Human Services after 28 years of faithful service.

She enjoyed spending time with family, sewing, card making, reading, and feeding and watching her neighborhood wildlife critters.

Mary had a big and generous heart.  She volunteered over 9000 hours for the Reedsburg Area Medical Center, and was always doing kind things and making beautiful things for family, friends, and people she didn’t even know.

Mary is survived by her husband, Donald of Reedsburg; children Todd (Darcy) White of West Bend, and Helen (Joe) Prohaska of Appleton; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph on January 3, 2023.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at Ford Cemetery in Menomonie.
