Micheal F. Sussek

Micheal F. Sussek, age 65, of Reedsburg, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center. He was born on July 6, 1957, in Reedsburg, WI, the son of Fred and Patsy (Brimmer) Sussek.  Mike was a Reedsburg High School graduate.   He proudly served his country in the US Air Force as a Weather Specialist. 

On May 15, 1993, Mike was united in marriage to Lisa L. Spencer. He was currently employed in Maintenance at RAMC/Reedsburg Area Senior Life Center and prior to that at Glen's Motor Clinic.  Mike was a big sports enthusiast who followed the Brewers and Packers and coached youth baseball for several years.  He enjoyed golf, had an appreciation for music and was an avid reader. He was a great cook and a master griller.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa; daughter, Leah (Keith) Miske; son, Brent Sussek  (Jade Hinze); grandchildren, Brady, Bryce, Baylor and Brynlee Miske and Donovan  “DJ” Sussek, all of Reedsburg; sister, Sue (Gary) Jensen of Ironton; brother, Dennis Sussek (Rita Lovelace) of Reedsburg; mother and father-in-law, Edward (Sharon) Spencer of Reedsburg; brother and sisters-in-law, Debra (Walt) Longmier of Reedsburg, Chad Spencer of Madison, and Bryan (Carrey) Spencer of Oconomowoc; several nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends.

The family wants to extend a sincere thank you to RAMC/RASLC and Dr. Nataliya Uboha and staff at UW Health Oncology.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Micheal F. Sussek will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at the Farber Funeral Home with Pastor Ben Seamans officiating.  Visitation will be held on Sunday from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.
