Mida A. Pearson

Mida Ariel Pearson, age 90, of Reedsburg, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022 in Reedsburg.  She was born on July 9, 1931 the daughter of George and Helen (Frazier) Greenwood. Mida was united in marriage to Percy A. Pearson on January 20, 1951. Percy and Mida farmed near Ironton for nearly 50 years.  Mida was a very gifted seamstress who sewed many special occasion dresses including some of her daughter’s wedding gowns. She also had a special talent nurturing her many beautiful flower gardens.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Percy on June 25, 1999; brothers Rodney and Dean Greenwood; sister Carrie Miesbauer Truog; brothers-in-law Archie “Doc” Pearson, Donald “Pat” Pearson, Gale Krug, Robert Miesbauer, Lenny Peterson and Nick Truog; sisters-in-law Audrey Pearson, Ruth Krug, Helen Greenwood, and Lorraine Greenwood.

Mida is survived by her children, Christine (Gary) Woolever of Reedsburg, Catherine (Steve) Sahlfeld of Newport, Kentucky, Carrie (William) Conlin of Reedsburg; grandchildren, Nathan (Katie) Woolever of LaCrosse, Joel (Meadow) Woolever of Reedsburg, Robert Mahaffey of Phoenix, AZ, Jarrod (Joanna) Mahaffey of Pataskala, OH, Meghan Conlin (Zach Sielaff) of Madison, Shannon Conlin of Madison; Great Grandchildren, Jackson, Jonny, Maggie, Broghen, Davis, Andie, Evie, Ellie and Willa; Sister, Jean (LaVone) Wood, Reedsburg; sister-in-law, Shirley Peterson, Hillsboro; along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Services will be at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg on Friday, March 18 at 12:00 noon.  Visitation will be at the Farber Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Memorials may be made to Resting Green Cemetery, Ironton.
