Myron F. “Bunko” Dionne, age 74 of Wisconsin Dells, WI, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. He was born on July 16, 1951 in Marinette, WI, the son of Myron R. “Bud” and Doris M. (Barnowski) Dionne.

He was a 1970 graduate of Marinette High School. He had been employed for many years at the Forest Home Cemetery, and many other jobs throughout the years. Myron also played in the “Tom Cats” band in Marinette. He was an avid deer hunter, and enjoyed fishing, gardening and playing pool. He was a former member of the 1400 Fishing & Hunting Club. Myron loved helping people with general maintenance and as a handyman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; great-grandchild, Sawyer Deitrich; sisters Roseann Roberts and Donna Anderson; nephew Charles “Ocie” Westmoreland; his extended family Rosella and Larry Kuczinski.

Myron is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Cas) Kowalski; former wife and longtime friend, Laurie Dionne; grandchildren: Tessa (Derek) Deitrich, Tristan Piwonski, Tianna Piwonski, Payton Kowalski and Jordan Kowalski; great grandson, Zander Deitrich; nephew, Chad; niece, Angie; he is further survived by his extended family, Karen, JoAnn, Anita (David) and their families; and his cat Bullet.

A Celebration of Life for Myron “Bunko” Dionne will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at the Fusch Center in Reedsburg from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service at 3:00 PM. Food will be served following the service. He loved his flannel shirts; and in his honor, if you wish, wear your favorite flannel shirt or wear blue.

Private family burial will be made in Forest Home Cemetery in Marinette at a later date.
