Nicholas Rizzio Obituary

Nicholas Rizzio, age 20, of Reedsburg, was a passenger in a car accident on Monday, January 23, 2023, and tragically lost his life. He was born on October 3, 2002, in Reedsburg, Wi, with the biggest beautiful brown eyes and the brightest soul. He was the son of the proud parents Patrick M. Rizzio Sr. and Julie (Young) Rizzio. He was employed and enjoyed working at Kwik Trip, and Menards and was starting to begin his own business.

Nick was someone with the biggest heart. Words can’t explain how much he cared for others, even more than himself. He loved helping anyone in need and making people laugh and smile. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, including hiking, going for drives, game nights, or simply just being with them. He also loved and was skilled at playing video games which sparked his passion for streaming. He was talented at photography and took breath taking photos. Nick was a phenomenal cook and enjoyed sharing it with others. He had a love for anime and anything part of the Japanese culture. He loved talking about, and working on his motorcycle and his cars, especially his dream car he was able to buy this past summer. He enjoyed the little things in life like sunsets, the moon, foxes, cats, and music.

In addition to his parents, Patrick and Julie Rizzio, Nicholas is survived by his maternal grandmother, Karen (Goggy) Young, and paternal grandmother, Anna Pedro. He is also survived by his siblings, Amanda and Tyler Rugg, Ashlee and Alex Torres, Tiffani Rizzio, and Patrick Rizzio Jr; his aunts and uncles, Elizabeth and Marc Coleman, Mark Young, Mary Young and Harmony and David Puchalski; his nieces like sisters, Aevah and Gabby Rugg, and many more nieces and nephews; his close cousins, Kara, Tim, Chase, Rachel, and Jianna. He is also survived by his brothers by love, Wyatt Stoddard, Michael Schmitz; and good friends Parker, Cody, Dominic, Carter, Brandon, and childhood friend DJ.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandpa Larry Young; his paternal grandpa, David Pedro; and cousin, Danielle Puchalski.
