Patricia “Patsy” Anne (Kane) Collins passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026.  She was born on November 10, 1943, in Green Bay, WI on and grew up in DePere, WI. She married Patrick (Pat) Collins on September 3, 1966.  She received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1967 and taught elementary school in DePere, Green Bay, Reedsburg and Rock Springs. She and Pat moved to Reedsburg in the fall of 1969, and she continued to teach elementary school. Eventually, she transitioned to a financial advisor/accountant for numerous businesses for 40+ years. She and Pat purchased Thiemann’s Drug Store in 1969 and started Collins Drug Store in 1978 which was sold in 2001.

Patsy was very active in the community, serving on the Sacred Heart Parish Council, Sacred Heart School Board, and co-chairperson of the Reedsburg Blood Mobile for 25 years. She was active in the Reedsburg Little League, Reedsburg Youth Hockey, the Reedsburg United Fund, and volunteered as a substitute teacher at Sacred Heart School for 15 years. She was active in the Brown and Sauk County Pharmacy Auxiliary Associations and the Wisconsin Pharmacy Auxiliary Association. She was an avid golfer, and enjoyed traveling, biking, skiing, tennis and playing bridge.

She is survived by her husband Patrick "Pat" Collins. She and Pat raised two boys. Sean (55) lives in Nashville with wife Kim and have four children: Zachary, Halle, Grayson and Mitchell. Ryan (52) lives with wife Nicole in Atlanta and have three children: Ethan, Amelia and Sophie Patricia.

Patsy was preceded in death by her brother James (Donna), mother (Marion) and father (Jerome Kane).  Her other siblings include brother Jack (Inger-deceased), brother Joe (Sandy), and sister Mary Vincent (Ken-deceased).

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and personnel at the Reedsburg Area Senior Life Center for their wonderful care over the last several years. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Reedsburg Area Helping Hands or the Reedsburg Area Food Pantry.
