Patricia A. Condon

Patricia A. Condon, age 85, of Cazenovia/Wonewoc, WI, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021, at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center. She was born on June 15, 1936, in Springfield, IL, the daughter of Roy Francis and Nadine (Elbow) Hayes. Patricia attended Immaculate Conception Grade School in Springfield, IL and graduated from St. Mary’s Academy in Prairie du Chien.  She went on to earn several degrees from Prestigious Mount Mary College in Milwaukee.  She was employed as an Occupational Therapist for many years.  She also taught grade school for two years. 

On August 21, 1971, Patricia was united in marriage to Patrick M. Condon at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Hillsboro.  This marriage was blessed with three children. 

Patricia enjoyed arts and crafts in her spare time; along with candy making and canning she made jewelry, greeting cards, was a talented calligrapher, and made hundreds of rosaries which she sent to others in many foreign countries.  Patricia was a proud grandmother and enjoyed attending the kids events through the years. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Germantown and a former member of the Rural Life Committee.

She was preceded in death by her husband Patrick on May 25, 2018; and her parents.

Patricia is survived by her children, Peggy (Chuck) Connors of Cazenovia, Susan (Shawn) Wallace of Hillsboro, and Maurice (Amy) Condon of Wonewoc; grandchildren: Katie Klang, Chase Connors, Myles Connors, Shawn, Seth and Halie Wallace; great-grandchilden: Collin Klang and Rylin Blaha; sister, Sharon (Robert) Mueller of Dubuque, IA; special honorary granddaughter, Addison Drea; her loving dog, Bandit; along with several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia Condon will be conducted at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Germantown with Fr. Nathan Thainese officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the time of the Mass at church. The Rosary will be prayed at 10:45 AM.
