Phillip Denman

Phillip Denman, age 67, of Reedsburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 4, 2020, surrounded by his family.  He was born on December 26,1952, in Richland Center, WI, the son of Gaylord and Irene (Fuller) Denman.  Phil farmed most of his life first on the family farm near Richland Center and later on his farm in rural Rock Springs.  He was also employed for several years with Grede Foundry in Reedsburg.  He was a dedicated driver for Amish families.  Phil was a fun loving family man who enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He was a huge Badger, Packer and Brewer fan and relaxed to various episodes of The Andy Griffith Show, Gunsmoke, The Rifleman and anything starring John Wayne.  He was a professional BS’er with a great sense of humor. Wow!

Phil is survived by his children: Bartholomew Denman and Tara, Monica (James) McCoach, Dominic Denman and Samantha, Christopher Denman and Lisa, Sara Denman and Patrick, Sarah (Mike) Twitty;

Grandchildren:  Amy (Neal) Kramer, Tucker Denman, Karli Denman, Trenton Denman, Tyler McCoach, Angel Wilk, Dalton Denman, Taylor Denman, Elizabeth Denman,  Christopher Denman Jr., Storm Denman, Jameson Denman, and Brantley Spencer; great grandson, Kolton Denman;

Sisters and brothers:  Marlene Johnson, Donald Denman, Donnette (DJ) Denman, Paulette Luke, and Rhonda (Nick) Mayberry; former wife, Joan Blood; along with several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Phil was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Bartholomew Jr.; brother, Gary; sisters, Gloria “Carol” Bower, and Barb Hauge.

Funeral services for Phillip Denman will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at the Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, with Deacon Ron Pickar officiating.  Burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Willow Township.  Visitation will be held on Friday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the Farber Funeral Home and on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
