Rhoda Estella Severson

Rhoda E. Severson, age 78, of LaValle, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center. She was born on December 8, 1944 in Barton, ND, the daughter of Walter W. and Rachel (Haverstraw). On August 24, 1962 she was united in marriage to Roland G. Severson. They were married for 60 years.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, singing the Lords praises, playing Mahjong, and other games, putting together puzzles and cuddling with her kitty.  Rhoda loved to laugh and made each day joyful with singing and praise.

In addition to her husband Roland, Rhoda is survived by her children; Roland “Billy” (Shari) Severson, Robert (Elizabeth) Severson and Renae Severson.  She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service for Rhoda will be conducted at 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg with Rev. Fred Weiss, Pastor of Bible Baptist Church, Reedsburg officiating. Visitation will also be on Tuesday at the funeral home from 3:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
