Robert F. Drewek, age 93, of Maitland, FL, formerly of Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022 at AdventHealth Hospice in Orlando, FL. He was born on December 9, 1928 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Stephen and Valeria (Kindel) Drewek. Robert served his country as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War Era. He was married to Anita Compton at St. Robert’s Catholic Church in Milwaukee. This marriage was blessed with two children.
Robert was a physician’s representative for Blue Cross/Blue Shield. He was a member of the Nativity Catholic Church in Longwood, FL. He enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles, woodworking, and cheering for the Green Bay Packers.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Anita; his brother Thomas (Rose) Drewek; and his sister Joan (Ervin) Lemanczyk.
Robert is survived by his son, Don Drewek of Tallahassee, FL, and daughter, Monica (Todd) Mitchell of St. Petersburg, FL; and grandchildren Amanda and Emily Mitchell; along with other relatives and friends.
A graveside service for Robert will be held at a later date in Calvary Cemetery in Reedsburg. Memorials of remembrance may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Shiners Hospitals for Children in lieu of flowers.
