Robert "Bob" Tobey passed away peacefully on December 15, 2023, at the young age of 63, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's.

Bob was born on March 15, 1960, in Reedsburg, WI. He graduated from Webb High School in 1978, and worked for Joe Seep Plumbing and Electric for many years, becoming a master plumber and electrician. He started his own business, B.T. Plumbing and Electric, and continued until Alzheimer's took its toll. Bob was a longtime supporter of 4-H and loved his family farm. He was also proud of all the kids in 4-H and often bought their livestock.

"Tobey," as most people knew him, was very social and loved his little town of Loganville. He raised his family on their hobby farm, which included llamas, goats, chickens, rabbits, and sheep. Bob enjoyed visiting Logan's Heroes, where he would have a "damn good burger," and many other establishments in Loganville.

Bob worked hard until his final days. As an electrician and plumber, his love for the job never stopped. He’d go on about splitting wires, telling folks he was busy at work, even if it was all in his head. He will be deeply missed.

Bob was the beloved son of Wayland and Shirley Tobey. He was a loving father to Randi (Albert) Harmer, Alex Tobey, and Andrew (Grace) Tobey, and a cherished sibling of Ty (Jean) Tobey, Roger Tobey, Rodney Tobey, John (Brenda) Tobey, Carolynn (Doug) Stittleburg, Elizabeth (Richard) Lins, and Samuel (Kat) Tobey. Bob was also a fond uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Wayland "Bill" Tobey, his brothers-in-law, William "Billy" Grell Jr., and Shane Kraemer.

The family would like to thank the staff at Casa de Oaks and Agrace in Fitchburg for their kindness towards Bob.

Funeral services for Bob Tobey will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, with Chaplain Mike Amberg officiating.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Reedsburg.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
