Robert “Bob” Daryl Wendorf, age 70, of Ironton, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025. Bob was born on August 5, 1954. He was the first son of Robert and Bonnie (Neumann) Wendorf. On June 5, 2009 Bob married Terry, his dearest. Bob was always the proudest with a beer in his hand, ready to tell everyone about his three daughters, his son, and nine grandchildren.

Bob courageously beat cancer once, and was re-diagnosed in November 2024. He’s now pain free and carefree riding his Harley on that highway in the sky.

Bob grew up on the family farm, and worked for UPS in his early days. He retired with 30+ years at Flambeau Plastics. Bob lived his life to the fullest, never missing an opportunity to take the Harley for a ride. And if he did miss that opportunity- you could find him on the mower for the next three days perfecting his lawn. He was an avid deer hunter as well, making sure the venison sticks never run out. He truly thrived in his retirement, making sure to check off everything on his “yes dear-honey do list”. Bob’s favorite space was his garage/man cave, where his friends became family.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Bonnie; Aunt Brenda and Uncle Gerald; son in law Joshua Ready; and his friends Mike, Wade, Mark and Randy. “You know the way to the place where I am going. You believe in God, believe also in me.”

Bob is survived by his wife Terry Wendorf; brother, Roger (Tami) Wendorf; daughters, Heather (Paul) Poker, Lindsey (Robby) Schmehil, Shawnna Suttley; and his son Brock (Lauren) Hedler. Bob was the proudest papa to Tyler, Peyton, Taytum, Aidan, Liam, Lucas, Allie Mae, Janessa, and Myla Rose. “I have my family, I am complete.”

A visitation and memorial service will be held at Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 11am to 2pm. A celebration of life will be following the memorial service from 2pm-6pm at the Reedsburg Town Hall at 600 West Main Street, Reedsburg WI 53959.
