Robert "Bob" Corey

Robert “Bob” Corey, age 47, of Lime Ridge, WI, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at SSM Health Monroe Hospital after a long fought battle with covid with his wife by his side. He was born on May 11, 1974 in Rockford, IL, the son of James K. and Marceda L. (Revels) Corey. On January 4, 2014 he was united in marriage to Candice Buelow. Bob was employed as a Mason. He began his career working for Kraemer Brother’s, and has been working for Mark Kast Masonry for past 14 years. He was a member of the LaValle Team Penner’s Association, Willow Valley Saddle Club, and Upper Midwest Great Dane Rescue. Bob enjoyed spending time with his kids and family. He loved fishing, cooking, shooting pool, horseback riding, camping, horseshoes and UTV riding.

Bob was preceded in death by his daughter, Zoey Corey; biological mother, Marceda; and mother, Delores Potter.

He is survived by his wife, Candice of Lime Ridge; children Zander and Zayven; biological father, James Corey of Missouri; father, Bud Potter of LaValle; father and mother-in-law, Pete and Julie Krueger of LaValle; grandfather, Red Geitz of LaValle; brothers and sister, Chad (Jen) Beckwith of Hillsboro, Willie Beckwith of Yuba, James Corey Jr. of Iowa, Heather (Joe) Jarman of Illinois, and Daniel Vicory of Illinois; special friends, Morgan and Terrance Cordray, Tracy and Howie McDonough, Mark and Mary Kast, and Dave Horkan; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; along with other relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Bob will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg with Chaplain Mike Amberg officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, will be set aside for an education fund for Zander and Zayven.
