Robert V. “Rob” Mortimer, age 45, passed away at home on Sunday, September 1, 2024, following several health complications. He was born on April 5, 1979, in Reedsburg, WI, the son of Victor Posey and Vicki (Spurgeon) Mortimer. 

Rob was a talented artist.  He was a licensed tattoo artist for several years.  Rob had many varied interests: he was a gifted cook, enjoyed listening to music and attending heavy metal concerts, working on and driving his muscle cars, fishing and spending time outdoors.  Rob was also an avid Packer fan. He truly loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his son, Nicholas Mortimer; stepfather, Richard Mortimer, father, Victor R. Posey; sister Kay (Richard) Deeney; maternal grandparents, John and Linda Spurgeon (Lewis); paternal grandparents, Arnold and Irene Posey.

Rob is survived by his children:  James Mortimer, Draven Mortimer and Eden Hanson; mother, Vicki Mortimer; siblings: Mark (Deb) Mortimer, Kim (Bill) Finn, John (Holly) Mortimer, Erik Avonti (Cole Ballweg); several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Rob’s life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at the Valton Friends Church in Valton.

The Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
