Robin M. Labeots, age 56, of Reedsburg, WI, passed away at home, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on June 13, 1967 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Ray and June (Stark) Peters. She was united in marriage on October 4, 1991 to Tim Labeots. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tim; her father, Ray; her mother and father-in-law Kathy and John Labeots; and her two yellow labs, Emma and Kyia. 

Robin is survived by her mother, June; children, Brandon (Rachel), and Joe (Katie); four grandchildren, Olivia, Penelope, Cori, and Dayne; her brothers Rick (Kristy), Barry (Jonelle), Eric (Melissa), Scott (Chanida), Kevin (Stacy), and Jon (Stacey); her best friend, Melody; her brother-in-laws John (Lucinda) and Chris (Cheryl): her Godchildren Jessica Lloyd, Austin Peters, and Tyler Peters; an abundance of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and grand puppy, Holly. 

Some of Robin’s hobbies included: spending time with her children and grandchildren, playing board games, quilting and crocheting, camping, watching movies, baking Christmas cookies, spending time with friends, going to shows, watching her sons play sports when they were in school, and taking her mom on tropical vacations (and we’ll just leave it at that!). She is also a THREE TIME Fantasy Football champion. 

She had been employed as a Registered Nurse and as the Ambulatory Care Supervisor at Sauk Prairie Healthcare for 25+ years. Robin’s nursing career ended in her receiving a Daisy lifetime achievement award. Some of her achievements included assisting in upgrading systems at the hospital, training staff members on these new programs, and being part of Wisconsin’s Project SEARCH and was invited to the Governor’s mansion. She also was critical in organizing the Roxbury run for several years. Robin was so dedicated to her nursing career that she went back to school to get her BSN degree. In addition to this, she also had a passion for leadership and mentoring her staff. 

More importantly than her dedication to nursing was her dedication to her large family. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg with Chaplain Mike Amberg officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday at the funeral home from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m., and on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will follow the service at the Greenwood Cemetery.

Family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Uboha, the oncology department at UW Health, SSM Hospice, and all of Robin’s friends and family for their support over the last year.
