Ronald Kitzinger Jr. Obituary

Ronald J. Kitzinger Jr., went home with Jesus on Friday, September 20, 2024.

Ron was born on December 2, 1960, in Menominee MI, the son of Ronald J. and Marlene R. (Botzau) Kitzinger.  He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Reedsburg, WI.

Ron graduated from Marinette High School and worked at Waupaca Foundries in Marinette, WI for 15 years until he moved to Racine, WI in 1994.  There, he married his best friend and loving wife Robin (Griffin).  For the next 30 years, Ron worked at Grede Foundries in Wauwatosa, WI, Iron Mountain, MI and Reedsburg, WI.  He was an avid deer hunter, fisherman, and motorcycle riding enthusiast.

Ron had a close relationship with his Lord as was shown by his care for others and his generous spirit.  He was involved at Faith Baptist Church, Christ the King Lutheran Church, Pentecost Lutheran Church and Trinity Baptist Church in a variety of capacities.  He loved God, his wife, his children and his granddaughter.  He carried in his heart the memories of many special moments with his brother Steve, cousin, Donny, and treasured friends the Youngs, Ries’, Rochons, and Luchterhands (all of them!).

Ron is survived by his wife of 30 years, Robin; son Jamey Kitzinger (Theresa Grap); daughter Sandra (Josh) Olive; granddaughter Olivia Kitzinger; one brother Steve (Bonnie) Kitzinger, three sisters Kathy Coleman, Lori (Randy) Hoheneder, Denise Kahles; mother-in-law, Joanne Griffin, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, and father-in-law, Sam Griffin.
