Ruby R. McQueen Obituary

Ruby Ruth McQueen, age 96, of Reedsburg, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Our House Assisted Living, Reedsburg. She was born on January 9, 1928, in LaValle, WI, the daughter of Clinton Lee and Laura Ismay (Stoughtenger) Rabuck.

On September 21, 1967, Ruby was united in marriage to Durwood “Duke” McQueen in Reedsburg, WI. Duke preceded her in death on January 18, 1995.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and Duke’s daughter, Pamela.

Ruby is survived by her daughter, Cindy Gipson; son Ed Pugh; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Fern Rabuck, nieces and nephews, along with other relatives and friends.

Private graveside services for Ruby will be held in Greenwood Cemetery, Reedsburg at a later date.
