Ruth Ann Cummings, age 68, of Reedsburg, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026. She was born on February 20, 1957 in Richland Center, Wisconsin, the daughter of Everett and Bethel (Dahl)) Eller.

On May 17, 1980 she was united in marriage to John M. Cummings Jr. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Reedsburg. This marriage was blessed with three children. John preceded her in death on April 5, 2023.

Ruth enjoyed riding her E-bike on the “400 Trail”, traveling, spending time with her grandchildren, maintaining her lawn and pool. She was also centered in her faith,and always was lending her time to others in her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Bethel and Everett; siblings, Robert Eller, Katherin Dahl, Lawrence “Joe” Eller, Gloria “Cricket” Eller, and Mike Eller; mother and father-in-law, Jack and Lorraine Cummings; and brothers-in-law, Ted Chizek, Dennis Cummings, and Paul Fish.

 Ruth is survived by her children, Brian Cummings, Charlene Little, and Stephanie (Ron) Hillebrand; grandchildren, Jordan and Tanner Little, Hailee Cummings, Alexis Ferguson;  brother and sisters, John (Sandy) Eller, Mary (Richard) Lockman, Lois (Floyd) Gruber, Margaret Rogers, Joyce (Hollis) Kleier, Judy Chezik, and Daniel Eller;  many beloved nieces and nephews; in-laws, Barbara Rogers, Julie Cummings, Cheryl Cummings, Mark Cummings and Ray Cummings; sisters-in-law, Carol Eller and Marilyn Cummings; along with other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service for Ruth will be conducted at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at the Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, with Chaplain Daniel Farber officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials of remembrance may be made to the family.
