Scott William Anderson, age 78, of La Valle, WI, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, June 11, 2026, with his loving family by his side.

Scott was born on February 21, 1948, in Kenosha, WI, to William and Marjorie (Robertson) Anderson. Following his graduation from high school, he attended Northwestern University and began his career with Walgreens. It was there that he met the love of his life, Susan Mary Leeds.

Scott and Susan were united in marriage on August 11, 1973, at St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church in Park Ridge, Illinois. Together they shared nearly 53 years of marriage, building a life centered on love, family, faith, and devotion.

After their marriage, Scott and Susan made their home in Florida, where they raised their three children and created many cherished family memories. Following retirement, they returned to Wisconsin to be closer to family and enjoy their later years surrounded by those they loved most.

Family was the center of Scott’s life. He treasured every moment spent with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Scott was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who never missed an opportunity to support his children and grandchildren in their activities and accomplishments. He took great pride in being present for life’s important moments and ensuring his family always knew how deeply they were loved.

Scott is survived by his beloved wife, Susan Anderson; his children, Marin Milewski (Jan Swiscz), Cheryl Anderson, and Andrew Anderson (Alexis); his grandchildren, Nicholas (Candice), Matthew, Lucas (Krystin), Olin and Hope; and his great-grandchildren, Calen, Wyatt, Trae and Brielle. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, Margo Anderson and Megan Anderson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Marjorie Anderson; and by his brothers Jeffrey and William Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Scott will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at Holy Family Catholic Church in LaValle, WI, with Father John Blewett officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery in LaValle.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to be given to Holy Family Catholic Church in LaValle, or the LaValle Fire and Rescue Association.
